Poem - Alone In A Crowd

"There’s Hope"

When I stop and look back on my life, I ask dear Lord why me?
That I should know such peace and love, with hope of eternity.

But when trials come, with valleys deep, it would seem I could not cope.
You gently whisper deep inside, just trust, have faith, theirs hope.

Please Father help me walk with you, and do thy will each day.
That I won’t try to work things out, and just get in the way.

I thank you Lord for being there, on you I can depend.
Because you said you’ll never leave, you are my dearest friend.
